How can I open a PowerPoint 2010 file on Powerpoint 2003?

I recently got MS office 2010 beta because I needed to make a kick *** powerpoint for school. But then I realized that my school has office 2003, and I can't open the powerpoint with full functionality. I need to keep the transitions and fonts availible only in 2010.

So what I need is a way to open this, I don't care what it is, maybe open it over the internet or something. I also thought of recording the power point as a video and using that, but i'm not sure if it will work.

Please answer with any ideas you have! How can I open a PowerPoint 2010 file on Powerpoint 2003?

You have to open the original PowerPoint 2010 on any computer that opens it, and then when you save it on that computer, save it as a PowerPoint 2003 in the list.

Then you can open it as a PowerPoint 2003.
when you open your 2010 version. save it as compatible to the 2003 version or save it as a 2003 version. it may prompt you saying that the 2003 version cant support some of the transitions or fonts but you can still give a bangin presentation wit 2003 stuf
Hi there,

You can consider turning your presentation into a video, which will then turn your PowerPoint into a Windows Media File. If you get familiar with the timing and pacing, it could be a good option for you. Learn about how to make this change in Office 2010 here: http://office2010.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/turn-your-presentation-into-a-video-HA010336763.aspx?CTT=5%26amp;origin=HA010336505

Hope this helps,

Microsoft Office Outreach
';File';--';Save as';--';PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation(*.ppt)';, then the output ppt file can be played on PowerPoint 2003.

If you want to convert the PowerPoint 2010 file to video, i suggest you use a professional powerpoint to video converter like leawo PowerPoint to video pro(http://www.leawo.com/powerpoint-video-co鈥?/a> ) so that all the powerpoint original elements like animations, transitions, video clips and sounds will be preserved.
