The opening would be closest to the rear wall of the shower. The rear wall, obviously, would be the wall opposite the shower head. I know this configuration would work, as we've seen it in a hotel room we once stayed in. The question is, how long would the distance have to be between the rear wall and the shower head wall? I imagine it must be long enough to minimize water splashing.
Thank you! What are the recommended dimensions of an open shower?
If you are redoing your bathroom, make the tile for the floor and around the shower dark sea green. My parents have that and it looks wonderful! What are the recommended dimensions of an open shower?
The ';Best Answer'; is retarded and has entirely nothing to do with the question.

You need to check the dimensions on what is available unless you are buildiing it yourself. Smallest shower I have seen is 30';. Since you are building a new home, go as big as you can afford since it is a ';one time'; install. Splashing will always be a problem
