How do I open an Acura Integra G3 hatch, with the main battery disconnected?

I began major work on the, and I completely forgot to leave the hatch open before I disconnected the battery.





I have one of those battery jumper start boxes. Can I hook it up directly to teh wire that releases the hatch, in other words bypassing the battery?How do I open an Acura Integra G3 hatch, with the main battery disconnected?
Can't you use the key??
