How to set my Xbox Live to Open NAT using my laptop?

Well I am able to get Xbox Live when I connect it to my Windows Vista laptop. The thing is the NAT settings is only set to moderate when I do so. How can I make it an Open NAT? I wanna meet up and play with my cousin online but can't since I'm moderate. So far I've just about done everything, enabled the PPNP thing, allowed other users to connect through my laptop and so far no luck. Anyone have suggestions? (Besides buying the wireless adapter thing for the Xbox 360, directly connecting it to my modem, and suggesting for me to buy a PS3. I've tried wireless adapter but I lag on Xbox Live when ever someone is on the computer, directly connecting to the modem gives me Open NAT but I can't share the cable all the time, and the PS3 sucks.. I'm a microsoft guy :p)How to set my Xbox Live to Open NAT using my laptop?
Hi,

If your using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) will always be moderate, you need to use bridging instead, there is a great guide (inc video demos) on this site to show you how to bridge:-

Every couple of days I have the same problem, I click on network connections, properties, then advanced settings, on my computer there are a list of programs that are protected you have to un-click the xbox ones apart from the top one.

Hope this helps.
